Notary – up to $10.00 per notary signature
a publicly commissioned official who serves as an impartial witness to the signing of a legal document. Document signings where the services of a notary are likely including real estate deeds, affidavits, wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. The main reason a notary is used is to deter fraud.
Acknowledgments or Jurat – up to $10.00 per notary signature
Unlike a jurat (which requires a sworn oath), an acknowledgment is to merely confirm the identity of the document signer and acknowledge that they signed the document. This service will be completed by the company’s in-house notary.
Oaths or affirmations – up to $10.00 per notarial act
An oath is a verbal promise to tell the truth made while holding the Bible. A witness may choose to swear an oath on another relevant religious text. An affirmation is a verbal, solemn and formal declaration, which is made in place of an oath. A person may choose to make an affirmation rather than taking an oath. This service is completed by the company’s in-house notary.
Copy certifications – up to $10.00 per page certified
This service applies to the certification of documents that are not the “original” document.
Mobile Notary Travel fee- $35.00
Fingerprint – $77.00, includes application, fingerprint and $67.00 money order sent to DPS
